FOUR Token

The FOUR tokens have been developed and deployed in 2018 as one of the technical components needed for platform transaction tokenisation protocol used on public-chains, combining three unique technical utility features:

  1. Embedded TTS interface (i.e. token teleportation-service)

Enables 4thtech wallet accounts with the ability to use ERC-20 FOUR tokens for GAS to execute electronic data and document exchange without having to pay for the native blockchain network transaction fees. Instead, the account pays for transaction fees in the 4thtech native FOUR tokens. 4thtech handles the settlement in the background.

  1. MTO (i.e. multiple-transfer option)

Is a settlement service that conserves blockchain network transactions and bundles signed multiple transactions together and settles them on the blockchain (i.e. as one transaction). Once the transaction has been settled, the transaction is concluded. The bundling of transactions enables 4thtech platform to scale as the overall number of transactions generated on the designated blockchain network is kept at a minimum.

  1. Tokenisation with a GAS feature used for electronic data and documents exchange transaction

To address the complexity of blockchain monetization on public-chains, a tailored-made transaction-based tokenisation model was created. The model enables to "fuel the electronic data and documents exchange transaction" using FOUR tokens as GAS on any public-chain of the electronic data and documents exchange protocol deployment.

FOURdx - FOUR Documents exchange protocol

The need for immutable, unmodifiable digital data and documents exchange is imminent. E-mail is not appropriate, non-secure and does not fulfil the task in question. Digital content can be created, edited, manipulated and exchanged very easily, what causes trust issues and slows down digital transformation, as organisations must still rely on intermediaries such as notaries. 4thtech initiative is solving this challenge with its blockchain electronic data and documents exchange protocol.

FOURdx leverage trust provided by the blockchain and provides secure, immutable, instant cross-border electronic data and document exchange.

FOURns

FOURns - FOUR Notarisation service

Notarisation can be described as a fraud prevention process that enables document authenticity and guarantees that the document has not been changed in the course of a transaction between parties. Usually, the physical Notary acts as an intermediary and provides needed trust factor between parties. 4thtech Notarisation service can be also described as a digital notary of the decentralised world and with its main solution enables sensitive electronic documents time-stamp and origin verification using blockchain as a "trust" source.

FOURns is a by-product of electronic data and document exchange protocol and can leverage the power of blockchains to facilitate source and time confirmation for digital data and documents.

With the capability of:

  • storing and timestamping a digital data or document
  • providing the checksum verification of the digital data or document authenticity

FOURid

FOURid - FOUR Digital identity

As a part of 4thtech initiative, we have developed a unique digital identity mechanism concept to modernise identity management for individuals and organisations. With leveraging the power of blockchain we are helping users map digital identity with blockchain wallet addresses, enabling new market opportunities and adoption use cases.

Blockchain digital identity

FOURid mechanism provides wallet address verification of an individual or an organisation. The mechanism creates a link between a user’s online identity and blockchain wallet address.

With the capability of:

  • connecting the X.509 standard digital certificate with blockchain wallet
  • providing the digital identity for FOURdx
  • providing digital identity for FOURns, the digital identity mechanism ensures the integrity and traceability in a decentralised ecosystem. Merging digital identity with blockchain wallet (i.e. wallet address) and enabling connection with the established digital identity standards, 4thtech initiative solves a specific niche challenge

X.509 standard

X.509 standard digital certificate can be used for data encryption, notarization of signed data, digital signature, digital identity verification and timestamp. With various European Union certificate publications, the X.509 standard is widely used and as such appropriate for blockchain digital identity integration. The X.509 Public Key Infrastructure is also approved by eIDAS (i.e. electronic IDentification, Authentication and Trust Services).

Process

  1. the user selects his or her X.509 standard qualified digital certificate
  2. simple KYC form is completed with users name, last name and tax number
  3. FOURid mechanism prepares and sends WSDL request in a SOAP envelope via HTTP POST protocol to the government managed automated service (i.e. the issuer of the X.509 certificate), which replies with the verification. If the user's tax number corresponds with the qualified digital certificate serial number, the user is successfully verified
  4. FOURid mechanism then creates a link between the user's identity and his, her wallet or a wallet of the organisation

FOURwal

FOURwal - FOUR wallet

The 4thtech blockchain wallet is a Google Chrome extension, that allows you to visit the decentralized web of tomorrow in your browser today. It is one of the 4thtech main innovations, a first system on the market capable of handling cryptographic tokens but also other assets such as encrypted electronic data and documents. The wallet supports various chains and it is an essential component in 4thtech ecosystem.

Main purpose

With a single purpose, the 4thtech wallet serves as a blockchain gateway, a tool for blockchain application access. It provides the simplest but secure way to connect to the 4thtech blockchain applications (i.e. FOURid, FOURdx and FOURns) as it contains a pair of public and private cryptographic keys. A public key allows for other wallets to execute 4thtech services to the desired wallet's address, whereas a private key enables the decryption of electronic data, documents and Notarisation details from the sender address.

Solution design

Designed and build from the ground-up, the FOURwal is fully operational and, also offers a secure identity vault, providing a user interface to manage digital identities and sign blockchain eDelivery transactions. FOURwal can be comparable to a bank account, as it contains a pair of public and private cryptographic keys. A public key allows for other wallets to execute eDelivery to the desired wallet’s address, whereas a private key enables the decryption of electronic data and documents from that address.

Installation

  1. follow the link shown on the platform
  2. add extension to chrome browser
  3. now you have installed extension, you can see icon on the right side
  4. click on that icon and setup your wallet
  5. refresh page and login
